The 945, Argyle Street, Glasgow
945 Argyle Street, G3 8JG — a new build development of housing flats and penthouses in the heart of Finnieston. Screed A (ECO FD E2C), supplied by TARMAC, was pumped to the top floor of the six-storey complex to keep an aggressive programme on track.
The Challenge
In addition to the aggressive timeline and sheer size of this project, one of the challenges was the buildings' height.
The Solution
Our ECO FD E2C, also known as Screed A, is a reliably performing self-levelling material that can swiftly be pumped to height and can cover bay sizes of up to 800 m² per day. Its use enabled the timely floor preparation completion, so the carpet installers could commence work within schedule.

Developer Westpoint Homes selected the fast-drying, early-to-cover Screed A (ECO FD E2C), powered by Anhydritec, to ensure programme completion within the demanding timeline. They appointed TARMAC to mix and test the screed at their Glasgow East Plant, who delivered it to site ready to pump up to the top floor of this six-story building complex.
